Gas R407c is a ternary mixture, non-ozone depleting. It was developed as a replacement product for R22 in air conditioning and refrigeration applications.
Gas R407c is a zeotropic mixture which, unlike azeotropic fluids, varies its temperature during the evaporation or condensation phases, for a given pressure value; Gas R407c has a slightly elevated T (temperature) of Glide, corresponding to 5 ÷ 7 ° C.
It is however important to charge the systems only using the refrigerant in the liquid phase and not in the vapor phase; the charge of the gas in the vapor phase would in fact cause an alteration in the original composition of the refrigerant, with consequent potential damage to the system and / or prejudice to its performance.
